Tripura Government and Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust (Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir - SSRVM) of The Art of Living signed and exchanged an MoU at the Rising Northeast Summit held in Delhi on 24th May, in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of DoNER Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Minister for Industries (Government of Tripura), and several other dignitaries and officials from the Government of India MyGovIndia and Tripura.
The MoU was signed by HG Harsha ji, Chairman of SSRVM Trust, and senior officials of the Tripura Government. The MoU outlines the establishment of Sri Sri University and Sri Sri Ayurveda College & Hospital in Agartala, Tripura. This initiative aims to bring world-class education and holistic healthcare to the region, fostering opportunities for students and professionals from across India and abroad. It also envisions enhanced development and global exposure for the North East.
A meeting was held with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. Dr.Manik Saha to discuss the road map and upcoming steps. The Government of Tripura has extended full support by allotting land and providing necessary permissions to facilitate the development of this transformative project.
