Shishir Utsav 2025
The All India SSRVM Schools Shishir Utsav 2025 opened on a high-energy note, bringing together the spirit of sportsmanship, culture, and togetherness from across the country.
With participation from 32+ schools across 11 states and 28 cities, the Utsav united 1,800+ students, supported by educators, organisers, and volunteers, in a truly pan-India celebration.
Day 1 began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Commodore HG Harsha, Chairman, SSRVM Trust, Smt Jaina Desai, and Chief Guest Arumugam Aru, Indian Kabaddi Captain, marking the official start of the games. Addressing the students, Commodore Harsha reminded them that Shishir Utsav is about competing with confidence, playing with sportsmanship, and building character through teamwork and participation.
Chief Guest Arumugam Aru inspired students with his journey and called the gathering a mini Olympics, reinforcing the power of discipline, movement, and balancing education with sport.
The highlight of the day was the March Past, symbolising collective discipline, along with the announcement of a new Best Marching Contingent Award, won by SSRVM Ghatshila!
The day saw vibrant sports events across track, field, and team games, alongside colourful cultural performances in dance, yoga, street play, and art - celebrating skill, creativity, and unity in diversity.
Shishir Utsav 2025 has begun with energy, purpose, and pride and the journey has just started.
