SSA, Kolkata are happy to share, that 7 students of Class I and 2 students of Class II have made proud by their excellent performance and winning the top ranks in State (West Bengal) in the 3rd International English Olympiad conducted in partnership with British Council.

The School celebrated its 3rd Foundation Day on 19th Feb,2013. the School also feel proud to share the coverage of the event in Telegraph (Young Metro- Edition) dated 5th March,2013.

Self – defence Training – “Shield” (for girl students from VI std & above) in all SSRVM Kerala

In the light of the tragic incidents regarding rape, molestation of girls and women, in our society, taking place frequently, as a protective measure our girl students are needed to be given an awareness programme. With this objective in mind, a self defence training programme named “SHIELD” for girls from Std VI onwards has been planned for all the Kerala SSRVM Schools. The programme titled “Shield” is designed by JC International which was successfully implemented in SSRVM Cochin, is now being inaugurated at a function to be held at 1700 hrs – 1900 hrs on Sunday, 3^rdmarch 2013 by Sri Sri Academy, Kollam, at the Raviz Hotel, Kollam.

Sri. Ravindra Prasadji, Trustee of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust, Bangalore has kindly consented to come to Kollam to preside over this function. Besides, Additional Director General of Police, Kerala – Dr (Ms) Sandhya has also accepted our invitation to inaugurate this workshop. A number of students and parents from SSA Kollam, SSRVM Sasthavattom and Trivandrum and other invited dignatories are expected to attend this function. This function is organised by Sri Baburaj, The Chairman of AOL Kerala Apex & the undersigned.

Sharing moments of Honorable Health Minister Sri Aravind Limbavali ji’s visit to SSRVM Bangalore East

The Minister was really impressed with the school ambiance, decorations, the programmes ( shloka chanting, dances, songs, PPT presentation), the school band Troupe display, tree plantation, mentioning the significance of the plant and the talents that the students exhibited and all the activities that the school has been conducting, curricular and co curricular.

SSRBM, Nanded :: Celebration Of 150th Birth Anniversary Of SWAMI VIVEKANANDA & RAJMATA JIJABAI

On 12th January 2012 SSRBM, Nanded celebrated the 150th Birth anniversary of the Patron Saint of India, Swami Vivekananda. He was born on 12th January 1863. On this occasion the Teachers and Students had a grand celebration in which one of student Pratik Pulkundwar of LKG enacted the role of Swami Vivekananda. Senior KG teacher Miss. Reshma Pathan gave information about Swami Vivekanandas life and achievments.

On the same day the school also celebrated birth anniversary of Rajmata Jijabai, who nurtured all the essential qualities in her son, Chatrapati Shivaji, to realise her dream of Swarajya. The role of Jijabai was played by LKG student Yashasvi Devasarkar. Jijabai’s profile was presented by Miss.Swati Porwal, nursery teacher. Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust, in association with Deeksha Network, has launched a residential Pre University program that provides an ideal blend of academic rigour and holistic development.
